ProMedia Group is a full service Direct Response advertising agency that specializes in performance based, or Cost per action (CPA) media. The company’s home office is in Miami, Florida, with an additional satellite office in Hoboken, New Jersey.
In late 2010, direct response media veteran Sharon Lior joined forces with Mary Ram and Susan Pensabene to form ProMedia Group. We are currently entering our 5th year in business and were recently named #640 on INC Magazine 5,000 fastest growing private companies in America. The managing partners are Sharon Lior, President, and Jonathan Peress, EVP.

Sharon Lior, Founder and President, has an unparalleled depth of experience within the cost per acquisition television arena. She began her career in the 1980’s with The David Geller Group. Sharon moved from her original position there to become Media Director of MSG Advertising - a division of David Geller that specialized in cost per acquisition television. In the early 1990’s, Sharon joined Shain, Colavito, Pensabene (aka SCP) where she launched the firm’s Per Inquiry division. Later, SCP was purchased by Omnicom and merged with Rapp Collins, eventually becoming OMD Direct. Sharon served as Vice President of OMD’s PI department for several years before leaving to continue her career at REVShare. During her tenure at REVShare, Sharon built the agency’s national television capabilities via her deep, proprietary relationships with the gate-keepers of remnant inventory. The cultivation of these relationships resulted in a 70% increase of REVShare’s annual media billings. Sharon’s experience covers all categories of products and services in both English and Spanish languages.
Jonathan Peress, EVP and Partner, has been with ProMedia since just after it's birth in 2010 having served in roles throught the entire agency. Jonathan has been an integral part of growing the agency’s vast media universe and extensive client base through his deep rooted industry relationships. Before starting with ProMedia, Jonathan was a member of Viacom’s industry leading DRTV sales team working closely on Comedy Central, Spike TV, LOGO and Vh1. Jonathan’s previous roles prior to ProMedia include years of `retail and corporate sales, recruiting and many years in the food & beverage industry. Jonathan has lived all across the US (usually chasing his meterologist wife) including Long Beach, CA where he served as Teaching Assistant for the music school of California State Univeristy, Long Beach. Jonathan also holds a B.M. and B.A. from the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD. Jonathan lives with his wife, Lizzie, daughter Lola and two boston terriers, Rocky and Ziggie.
- In his leisure time, Jonathan loves spending time with his family, eating at ethnic 'dives' and hunting for bargains.
- A HUGE sports fan, he roots for New York Mets and the New York Jets.
- His musical talents include playing the tuba and saxophone.
Susan brings over 30 years of DR experience to the table. She began her career at Wunderman in 1973 where she helped form the first full-service DRTV agency in the country. From Wunderman, Susan joined Rapp & Collins to launch the Media Department. She later headed the Broadcast Media Division of Grey Direct. In the late 80’s she formed her own agency – Shain, Colavito, Pensabene (aka SCP) – which after 15 years in operation was sold to Omnicom and folded into Rapp Collins’ Media Department.
Mary’s experience began in the mid 80’s at A.Eicoff in Chicago where she was a Broadcast Buyer and Account Supervisor. She went on to direct the launch of Time Life’s in-house media buying group in Alexandria, VA. Later, she spent 8 years at SCP/Rapp Collins where she served as Broadcast Director. Her experience also includes a stint as SVP, Director of Client Service at IPG’s ID Media (the agency formed by combining Media Direct Partners, Western Direct, True North and Draft Direct).
Tony Provenzano, Senior Vice President, has over 54,000 hours practice in the field of direct marketing. According to the Author of the book Outliers Malcom Gladwell he is an expert in his field 5 times over. Tony also enjoys Golf, Cooking with Wok and is known for being great fun at parties
Chris Bishouty, Vice President of Strategy, joined Pro Media to help our clients maximize the performance of their campaigns, and to assist in molding and guiding the direction of the agency. He is the driving force behind proprietary in-house application development that helps to increase agency efficiency and performance within the industry. He also heads up development and build out of lead generation and brand based verticals. Chris has been working in many facets within the DR industry for over 10 years. Formerly an owner of Blue Flame Studios, AGM Video, and other companies in the media industry, Chris has made a career out of innovating through technology and helping to build cornerstone brands through award winning creative work on an agency level. Chris wrote the book on production that performs for the lead generation space in DRTV and has had a hand in delivering millions of leads for clients in just about every vertical imaginable. He has also developed proprietary applications specific to the DRTV industry and credits his knack for strategic development to a career as a serial entrepreneur. Chris holds an MBA with specializations in Marketing and Management Information Systems, as well as a Master's of Science in Computer Information Systems from the University of Miami located in Coral Gables, FL.

Christin Higgins, Vice President of Media, brings over 13 years of experience in Direct Response TV and Radio. Christin has extensive agency experience, with an impressive background in national & local cable television, network TV and syndicated television & radio. Christin holds a B.S. in Communications with a concentration in Media Studies from Northeastern University, located in Boston, MA. Upon graduating she immediately began her media career at the much acclaimed Doner Advertising allowing her to work on major general accounts such as Mazda, Six Flags, and May Company. From there she moved onto Mercury Media where she transitioned into the response world and worked with DR and Hybrid clients such as Carvel, Twin River Casino, Vegas.com, Grand Bahama Island & Nassau Paradise Island tourism, eDiets and Hoveround. In 2010 Christin started with KRE8 Media, a DR agency based in Orlando, FL where she held positions as DR Media Manager and Associate Media Director. She spent four years there, working primarily on senior targeted and mass tort litigation advertisers including Premier Care in Bathing, Connect America Medical Alert and Akin Mears.

- She loves going to concerts and other live entertainment shows, loves to dance and has a strong knowledge of pop culture trivia.

- She supports all Boston sports teams and travels back home to Boston frequently to visit her family (mainly her adorable niece Olivia).
Bryan Russmann assumes the position of Creative Director for the ProMedia team with a career built entirely in the media, communication, and advertising industries. He began his career nearly 30 years ago as Editor in an Austin Texas Post Production facility. Bryan spent 12 years editing and producing broadcast television commercials, movies and videos, developing and honing core skills of message delivery and storytelling. Bryan moved directly into advertising, assuming the position of Creative Director and General Manager of the JB Herrmann Advertising Agency from 2009-2012. In 2014, Bryan became the Executive Producer for ProMedia. Bryan holds a BS degree in Journalism from the University of Colorado Boulder. Career achievements include award winning work in broadcast television, movies, and advertising. Bryan’s experience, vast skill set, and dedication to the highest levels of artistry and craftsmanship allow him the opportunity to focus on all areas of marketing and communications to the optimum delivery of our client’s message.
- Like his fictional counterparts, Bryan enjoys a good single malt.
- He is absolutely in love with the midcentury era of design and tries to bring that passion to every project he works on.
- Bryan is also an avid student of Yoga, a big fan of the punk rock band Green Day, and is very proud of the fact that he hasn’t had a carb in 10 years.
Jeremy brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to Pro Media. Jeremy has extensive experience in both the customer service industry as well as marketing and promotional campaigns, specifically with national outlets like the Bacardi and Campbell’s Soup, that make him a true asset to our day to day operations. Jeremy also served his country as a member of the US NAVY Seabees for over 6 years. His two campaigns in the 1st Gulf War make him a life member of the VFW. Jeremy’s vast experiences have taken him across the entire continental US (all 50 states) as well as the world, having traveled to an additional 54 countries.
- He has two French Bulldogs (Lilo & Stitch) who tend to frequent the office on a weekly basis.
Carlos P. Herrera, Director of Accounting, is originally from the Dominican Republic were he completed his Accounting and Business Administration studies at Universal Technological Center (CENTU). Carlos moved to the US in 1995 and graduated with a Business Operations certification from Florida Computer & Business College in 1998. Carlos brings over twenty years of extensive accounting experience and expertise, and was recently listed as one of the top 24 Bookkeeping Consulting Services in the Miami/Fort Lauderdale area by Google. Carlos has worked as an independent contractor for the last eight years with several midsize and large companies between Chicago, Dallas, and the Miami/Fort Lauderdale area.
- His hobbies include cooking (a master in the kitchen) and traveling.

- He has a taste for the good life and luxury cars.
Natalia Malikova, Accounting Coordinator, originally hails from Gomel, Belarus. Natalia graduated from Belourussian State University, of her native country, with a B.A. in Foreign Languages (concentration in French and English) in May of 2009. Upon graduation she acted on her dreams to travel and made her way to the United States as an exchange student. Natalia immediately enrolled in the school of international business at Miami College where she is currently pursuing her BBA—she has already been awarded her associates degree in business administration. While enrolled at Miami College, Natalia was able to secure a position as a sales representative for Premium Credit Bureau in Doral, Florida. She was in this position for just under a year developing her communication skills before joining ProMedia in April of 2013.
- Her passions include her family, travel, food and reading.
- She is also a talented piano player.
Alyssa Alabastro graduated with honors from the University of Miami in 2013 with a BS in Biology and Psychology with minors in Chemistry and English. While enrolled as a full-time student, Alyssa was also able to work full-time as a team leader and supervisor at several local restaurants. This gave Alyssa a great foundation in customer service and management and showed her significant potential in the fast-paced world of advertising. She then decided to pursue a career with Pro Media in order to effectively make use of her strong analytical intellect while also being able to build up her sales and communication skills.
- Alyssa is fluent in English and Tagalog, and has a mastery of numbers and computers.
- She is passionate about dogs and enjoys reading, writing, cooking and tasting craft beers in her leisure time.
- Her favorite outdoor activities include hiking and kayaking.
Samantha Fox, Media Supervisor, graduated from the University of Miami in 2014 with a BBA in Marketing and a minor in Advertising. Multiple years of experience at Precipart Group under the HR and accounting departments have greatly assisted her communication skills and given her the fundamentals necessary in the advertising world. Additionally, she has had 6 years of customer service experience in both retail and sales, and comes to us with an extensive international business background through a study abroad program.
- A former UM cheerleader.
- Sam is an avid traveler and is particularly in love with the Mediterranean - mainly Turkey.
- Her favorite sport is football and she loves the Giants.
Danielle Greenbaum, Account Planner, graduated from the University of Miami in 2015 with a BSBA in Sports Administration and a double minor in Marketing and Education. Having interned for the University's athletic department in data analysis (for the Miami Dolphins) and customer relations (for UM and the New York Islanders), she has expansive knowledge and lengthy experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- She is a huge New York Mets and Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
- Her hobbies include shopping and watching reality television (mainly Survivor and all the Real Housewives).
- She loves all animals - particularly fond of pigs.
Jacob Windlinger graduated from the University of Miami in 2015 with a BBA in Marketing and a minor in the Music & Entertainment Industry. Through his past experience as a Resident Advisor at the University, Jacob enhanced his leadership and customer service abilities by serving as a resource to incoming freshmen residents. Jacob also has an extensive background in the Music & Entertainment industry through working a variety of positions for a radio station, talent agency, as well as The National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences- the organization that hosts the GRAMMY Awards each year.
- Jacob is an avid stand-up comedy fan and enjoys going to local shows & music festivals in the Miami area (electronic music, hip-hop, indie).
- He is also a total gym rat and enjoys bike riding throughout the city.
Before joining ProMedia, Anthony served as a Video Editor on the Atlanta Falcons broadcast team for two seasons. During his time working with the Atlanta Falcons, Anthony played a key role in constructing the team’s narrative by editing Highlight and Sizzle Reel packages for both Broadcast and Web distribution. While working with the NFL, Anthony completed two internships with Turner Broadcasting. In his role at Turner, Anthony was tasked with creating vast amounts of video content on a weekly basis to feed the users of the popular app “Cartoon Network Anything." The content Anthony made for Cartoon Network has been viewed over 500 million times. Anthony graduated from The Savannah College of Art and Design in 2015 with a B.A. in Television Production.
- In his free time he enjoys going to the movies, playing videogames (namely Rocket League) and longboarding.
- His favorite sport is hockey and he is a die-hard Florida Panthers fan.
Joanna Palatianos, Commercial Operations Planner, graduated from the University of Miami with an M.F.A. in Motion Picture Production. She has an extensive background working on several film and television productions, as well as directed and produced a variety of short films.
- Artistic by nature, she has a passion for filmmaking, photography & aesthetics in home decor.
- She loves to travel (Malaysia being her furthest destination traveled) and is into all things tropical.
Lisset Rendon was born and raised in Margarita Island, the Pearl of the Caribbean, in Venezuela. She moved to the US for college in 2008 and graduated from the University of Florida with a B.A. in Advertising. Upon graduation she began her DR career at Kre8 Media in Orlando, FL, where she coordinated the transmitting of media to television and radio stations for different markets/regions. She then moved to Miami, FL to pursue her M.B.A. with a concentration in Marketing at Nova Southeastern University.
- Her passions include travel, wine-tasting and is a self-proclaimed beach bum.
- She is a spinning-enthusiast and enjoys playing tennis during the week.
Denise Martinez studied Advertising and Marketing at the University of Florida and finished her degree at Florida International University, where she graduated in 2015. Under the University's advertising program she spent an entire semester creating a marketing campaign for the Adrienne Arsht Center of Performing Arts in Miami, where she took on the role of team leader and Account Executive. Prior to working at ProMedia, Denise built experience working as a Marketing assistant, writing blogs and handling social media for several clients. She has also interned at a marketing agency devoted to promoting feature films for distribution where she assisted in creating promotional movie-related events, whilst expanding on her creative and communications skills.
- Denise is a niche movie buff with an interest in dark comedies and psychological dramas.
- She also enjoys stand-up comedy shows and rock concerts in her free time.
- Known to change her hair color based on her mood.
Sharon Szmuc is originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina but raised in the beautiful and diverse city of Miami. She graduated from Florida State University with a BA in Communication and Media Studies and Creative Writing. Through her past experience working for the radio station WVFS Tallahassee 89.7 FM as part of the Development Department, she gained experience with ad sales, underwriting, and public relations. Before graduating, Sharon interned abroad in Jerusalem where she gained a vast amount of experience with blogging, interviewing, and networking with startup companies and non-profit organizations, thus gaining hands-on knowledge and experience of different international communication and media fields.
- She is movie buff (mainly thrillers and Oscar-winning dramas) and an avid writer, known around the office as a mini-Carrie Bradshaw.
- Her inquisitive personality helps her build relations and grow her network.
- She burns off her favorite Starbucks vanilla lattes by working out at Orange Theory .
- Gluten-free, but full of love (and lots of questions!).
Daniel Castilla graduated from Florida State University, receiving his bachelor’s degree with honors in applied politics. Throughout his college years he worked for the United Nations (UN) as an educator on the UN legislative process, hosting conferences for middle school, high school, undergraduate, and postgraduate students throughout the US and abroad. This led Daniel to become an accomplished public speaker and an activist against human rights violations throughout the world.
- Working for the UN, Daniel has traveled to many countries including China, Russia, and Romania.
- One day Daniel hopes to be able to travel to South Africa.
- In his free time, he enjoys going to the shooting range and racing motorcycles.
Mia is a North Carolina native and a graduate of North Carolina State University where she earned a B.S. in Communications and minor in Spanish. As the Sales Manager for a national spa chain, she cultivated a vast background in sales and marketing, opened locations and trained staff.
- In her spare time, Mia enjoys all things food, fashion, fun and fitness.
-She has a highly creative ability and can be often be found doing DIY projects or creating magic in the kitchen with her daughter.
-Mia and her fiancé also take adventure head-on: traveling, snorkeling and hang gliding and moonlighting as super heroes. Cash her outside, howboudat!
Brittany Triche was born and raised in Chicago, IL and graduated from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana in central Illinois with a BS in Health Administration. Upon graduating, she moved back home to Chicago to complete the improv program at The Second City Chicago and gain on-camera knowledge and experience on a handful of TV shows. She had always been a natural entertainer, but her time acting in Chicago confirmed her love for making people laugh and working in front of and behind the camera. This also sparked her passion for hosting on camera and live events. Eventually, Brittany made her way to a South Florida where she began a professional career in the hospitality industry, where she acquired excellent customer service skills and built strong relationships in a variety of luxury hotels and restaurants throughout Miami. Brittany currently hosts the funniest Trivia Show in South Florida, is the self-proclaimed ProMedia DJ, and constantly has the team in stitches. Often involved with Pro Media productions, she shines on-camera and assists in recording voice-over for projects.
- She loves all Chicago sports teams - mostly the Chicago Bears, Chicago Bulls and Chicago Blackhawks.
- She likes her desk how she likes her whiskey - neat.
- Her pet dog Lola is half-Yorkie, half-Chihuahua and 100% thug.

Stephanie is a recent graduate of Florida International University. She holds a B.A. in Journalism & Mass Communications, with a focus on public relations and a minor in sociology. After 5 years of working in the hospitality and retail industry, her customer service and communication skills have strengthened and prepared her for the media world.
- Stephanie is a Miami native and speaks fluent Spanish, which means she knows where to find the perfect colada.
